So I was in Japan over the new year, going to Comic Market, playing VF5, hanging with my friends, all that good stuff, when I started thinking about what my resolutions were going to be for the new year. Every time I go back to Japan and hang out with my artist pals, I always get a burst of inspiration to start drawing again. Last year my output level absolutely sucked. Sucked sucked sucked. Mostly because I couldn't get over my feeling that my work itself, well, sucked.
I needed to do something about that.
So, my resolution this year: Get over my self-consciousness and draw more. Much more.
How am I going to motivate myself to do that? I'm going to be doing a doujnshi. Yes, you heard that correctly.
The subject of choice: Miss Vanessa Lewis. I'm not going to be the only one working on this - a few of my friends from both JP and abroad all volunteered to help out.
Pre-planning work has started a little, but right now I'm more focused on getting back into drawing more often (I'm working on some female characters from Super Robot Wars OG at the moment). I do need suggestions for a doujin circle name, though.
(PS. Read my VF5 character featurette! [link] )

Oh, and I uploaded a sketch of Regal Bryant from Tales of Symphonia, but it isn't showing up yet because the DA server is slow as molasses. Seriously, guys, you got my Paypal cash, can we speed it up juuuuuuuuuuust a little and fix the quirks?

Anyways, if you have a geniune beef with my artstuffs, please let me know. Compliments are nice, sure, but honest constructive criticism helps even more. ^^
This is basically just going to be an art posting place for me. My real blog is at [link] ... Just FYI.
